New screen graphics for Newshub Nation. Gosh it’s almost like them and TVNZ have switched places. The other mob have it so right and new! Even The Project’s execution of the Aussie look is so poorly done.

Apparently the new owner of the TV arm will emerge in a couple of weeks. Interesting timing with when Anderson steps down… I suppose whoever is taking over will be taking over a Radio/Internet Company, rather than one that does TV as well.

Might be easier to find someone without the tv burden. Michael Anderson has done a pretty good job, putting all the radio stations under one roof and they should have sold off TV3 years ago imo. Look forward to Three no longer being +HR=E

Sacha McNeil filling in for Amanda on Friday and this week on The AM Show. I don’t remember her doing mornings since the very early days of Paul Henry when she filled in for Hilary maybe once or twice

I watched a little on their Facebook live-stream and looks pretty good. Crazy to think they’re only doing this online and even if it was last minute they couldn’t schedule this on tv.
I’ve heard that programming refused to give up the airtime which seems bizarre given Big Brother is airing there tonight and it is being bumped out of main prime-time after tonight.

Did Three air any updates on the leadership vote during normal programming or was it only covered in the late bulletin?

They had a ticker running at the bottom of the screen during NCIS LA. Pretty poor decision not to drop the 10pm repeat of NCIS in favor of Newshub late airing earlier instead. Great that they used their FB and website to live stream the news special if the ad dollars were more important. Disappointed 1 News didn’t do any special.
