Ideas moment Paul Henry & Wilhelmina Shrimpton hosting a 7-8pm show called “The Brief”. A wrap of the days news put into interviews and a panel of 3 at the end of the show. The pair would make a great duo, and in my opinion top Seven Sharps ratings. Wilhelmina can be quite of a chill and fun person outside of reading the news, so why doesn’t Media Works use that to their advantage!

Sounds quite similar to Story (especially the panel thing they did on Fridays).
I find Wilhelmina quite cold on air, but maybe that’s just me! Haven’t seen her in a more relaxed environment.
It would take a lot to top Seven Sharp btw, notice how The Project never seems to crow about ratings anymore…

You should search her up on Instagram, seems quite a funky chick. She seems a bit too serious reading the news, I agree. So maybe a different environment like such would suit her. Especially with Paul.

Good to see Newshub using its Decision 2020 branding, I also liked seeing the Exclusive just above the Newshub logo, something 1News should start doing. I’m expecting to see 1News to unveil their Election branding (1News Vote20 or Election2020) on Thursday night ahead of the Colmar Brunton poll.

Interesting Newshub is covering the National leadership takeover with a special bulletin, but not TVNZ. Ryan Bridge in the chair. They did a pretty decent job considering there wasn’t anything to report for three-quarters of an hour (until the decisions emerged).
