Wonder if that was his decision or the networks. Don’t really rate him personally, but will be interesting to see where he pops up.
Probably Seven Sharp, seems to be the place they all end up now
I assumed Carly would have just presented the 8pm as well as the late news but its good to see it will be a dedicated host. Be interested to see who gets it, anyone have any ideas as to who could potentially be seen on it
Laura’s last night filling on on The Project was yesterday.
Carly’s only contracted until December. No guarantees she will be the permanent host next year.
Wonder why they let Wilhelmina and Sacha go and then advertise for new roles? Anyway, 8pm presenter sounds like a nice gig - if it’s done well it could be a pretty cool hybrid news / current affairs slot.
Didnt know that. Well hopefully they keep her around or she goes for the 8pm role, shes a natural and a waste of talent if they dont use her more. Hoping next year we will see her fill in more on newshub at 6pm when Sams away. I know traditionally that the weekend anchors are the back up and it will Laura, but Carly and Oriini are a way to keep it fresh
Why is Ryan standing?
They do a segment called what’s new, A wrap of what happening on the day ahead in 60 Seconds. Just a change in look have been doing it all year
What time does this happen? I have watched the am show all year and never seen it?
Timecode is in the ticker but generally is 6:15
What’s with the Chaii Pineapple Pizza thing? Is it the sponsor of the Late weather, like Meridian is with the other bulletins?
Album/single cover I’m guessing…
Yes. They’ve been doing this for ages outside of the 6pm bulletin.
Bernadine Oliver-Kerby joining Three as the AM news presenter. Social media influencer William Waiirua will be the roving weather guy.
Bernadine will also host the 5:30am bulletin as well
