The longest ABC News closer Iâve heard on the News Channel was about 30 seconds long while I donât think NSW 7pm bulletin even has a proper Closer with music on weekdays anymore, so you were pretty lucky to get around a minute of the theme!

Thanks! Yeah I reckon, very hard to come by. Thereâs another closer from (I think) Afternoon Brief with a piano part in it which Iâm looking for as well. One day they will play it in full and I wonât be recording!

Is it the same one that is (or if not, was) used for some of the ABC Late News bulletins on the ABC NEWS channel? (I donât watch a lot of ABC News these days.)

Yes! Thatâs the one. I first heard it in that video then on the channel not too long ago. Havenât heard a longer one though. It probably was Late News and not Afternoon Brief.
