Wouldn’t be surprised if they recycled the piano track dubbed for the 2010 arrangement and did some extra mastering. Perhaps the extra flourishes there were recorded back then, but went unused.

Does anyone know who was the composer to the Ten Eyewitness Theme they used from 1991 to 1995 (and much later in Ten Capital’s case)?

All four versions of the WIN News closing theme, Paul Foss’ “Steel”. The Killer Tracks site is very user-unfriendly for a media enthusiast so I decided to record them through the “song preview” stream on the site.
Their site state this production track is for news, but also current affairs, Action/Adventure movies, media centred around investigation and corporate stuff.
The first is the regular version, followed by a shorter 30 second cut then a “reveal” version with less instrumentation and finally a rearranged version. WIN must still be using the first two, and I wish for an upgrade…

I guess copyright law is not something easily enforced in a state recognised by few if any countries.
Given the small population and economy of the country, the set and graphics aren’t bad, even if the latter are completely ripped off from the ABC.
