It’s absolutely hilarious how an editorial/letters page from today’s Sydney Morning Herald made it into some editions of The Daily Telegraph, but I wonder if the reaction would’ve been very different had it been the other way round?
Although my favourite Daily Telegraph publishing fail from recent times is probably still the January 16 comics section:

It was put to the court that the News Corp reporter behind The Teacher’s Pet podcast may have “shredded” transcripts of interviews with potential witnesses for the forthcoming trial of Mr Dawson.
The lawyer for accused killer Mr Dawson claims Mr Thomas said evidence from episode seven in chapter five of the podcast “needs to be shredded” or “we’ll all go to jail if it airs”.

Very interesting indeed. But no different predicament to most suburban papers I would think.
Sounds like SA division trying all their options, getting on the front foot before the possibly inevitable cut a few months away.

A News Corp journalist has spoken up as well.

When there is such a spotlight on violence against women, News Corp puts this on the front page. Classy

Good to see one of the decent Coalition MPs - and former journalist calling it out too.

Crosshairs on front pages have been done before, usually for criminals, she’s not at Eddie Obeid levels yet.
Interestingly, Linc’s tweet has been removed. I wonder who had a quiet word with him?

At least someone spoke out.
A disgrace. Will they only be remorseful when a politician is assassinated in this country?

At least Sunshine Coast Daily has apologised over Monday’s front page.
News Corp has launched a new agricultural magazine.
Was the apology on the front page?
I think it was on page 2 of Tuesday’s paper.
typical. Nobody ever reads page 2

I read page 2 of a newspaper, I gotta know what page the Comics are on!
Aren’t most (if not all) of the eight titles featured in the comics section of News Corp dailies available online for free?
The Snake website looks like it was last updated in 2003. Everything that’s free there is very old!

Perhaps Allan “Sols” Sailsbury isn’t really tech savy? Either way, that website looks like a relic from the early days of the internet!

I remember making websites like that! The rotating gif images, it’s like Mr X’s page from The Simpsons. Definitely a late 90’s design there!
I think generally most apologies are usually buried deep on page 2. They can say they’re still prominent but they also know that really many people won’t see it or read it.
