TVNZ2 to launch a local series of HYBPA? later this year. Hosted by Hayley Sproull, joined by regular contestants comedian Urzila Carlson and ZMâs Vaughan Smith.
I wondered why Urzila had suddenly reduced her airtime on ThreeâŚ
TVNZ hasnât had a great history with these style of shows in recent years. There was Best Bits and a few others as well that failed to capture the imagination. Hard to go against 7Days though, with the inevitable comparisons.

TVNZâs Jehan Casinader on covering Christchurch terror attack. Can just imagine him on a show like The Project doing editorials as Waleed does.

"I got frustrated with how much emotion was pouring out of many of the journalists covering Christchurch. Maybe I sound cynical, but a lot of it was unnecessary and indulgent and attention seeking. The only people who kept banging on about how upset they were, were white journalists.
âThese were the same people telling the country how shocking and surprising the attack was when no one of colour, certainly no one in the Muslim community, found the attack to be a shock or a surprise.â

TV changes at MediaworksâŚ
From July 1 The Edge TV gets replaced by +HR=E life +1 and the music channel goes out via online channels only (but in HD).

From 01 July 2019, ThreeLife +1 will broadcast on Freeview channel 14 while Edge TV transitions to a HD
streaming proposition on ThreeNow, rova and theedge.co.nz.

ThreeLife is a lifestyle channel that launched in April 2018 and is an extension of the Three brand. Each night
on the channel is themed, from food to DIY, and the lineup features shows such as hit reality format Married at
First Sight USA and key franchises including Millionaire Hot Seat, Strictly Come Dancing and American Ninja
Warrior.
Edge TV is New Zealandâs only 24 hour music TV channel playing the hottest video clips from the worldâs
biggest artists while also championing Kiwi music not seen on any other channel. The move to HD will allow
the Edge TV audience to experience their favourite artists on any device, anywhere and with a quality never
seen before in New Zealand.
Edge TV is part of The Edge radio network which has the highest cumulative audience of all commercial radio
stations across New Zealand with 608,500 listeners nationwide and has a formidable online presence,

If anyone was interested, I just posted a video scrolling through the channels on a Sky TV Box. This was recorded back in February just posted it now.

The first ever Bachelorette NZ is going to be on TVNZ. Interesting as Three has (or had) the New Zealand rights to the The Bachelor series.

Began using it Monday night. All their panel shows were done on the road last week. Not sure what CGW did.

Love Island NZ has been scrapped, for this year at least.
Oh wow. Wonder if theyâll have to rehabilitate the brand a bit with the low ratings for the UK version.
You mean the US version airing on CBS (which is the wrong network for the program in the first place) - the UK version is a ratings hit for a multichannel (ITV2)
