I caught the start of The Cafe this morning & filling in for Mike Puru was Mai FM’s Nickson Clark
As a Aussie, I wished Paul Henry stayed over when he came over and John Campbell came over to Australia.
I love Campbell Live when I was over there.
TVNZ Duke enters the music TV space with DUKEBox Music airing every Saturday and Sunday morning on TVNZ Duke. Not sure what the rationale is for this move into music but it’s good to see more music on TV.
Must have got bored of the quizzes
Haha probably!
It’s one where you suspect the name came before the content
TVNZ need to stop there prime time line up promos on 1 & 2, they’re way too unprofessional and tacky. Trying too hard to be casual. Three do it much better.
Greasy, is the word that springs to mind, that “trying too hard to be your friend” sort of thing.
Yea that’s the type of vibe I’m picking up from them.
MediaSpy TV could be a thing (in NZ at least)…
Kordia TV has launched on LCN200, offering any schmuck the chance to lease the channel to broadcast whatever.
Not listed in the EPG, so I imagine Kordia aren’t paying the normal Freeview rates. Is currently showing some loop of some random event. Didn’t watch long enough to see what it was / didn’t care enough to find out. And it’s in glorious Standard Definition.
Anyone remember Filthy Rich NZ? FOX have released the trailer for a U.S Version
of the show, with similar elements to the original. Looks… American lol.

“The NBL has enjoyed record attendances and broadcast audiences in recent seasons and is now rightly considered one of the best leagues in the world outside of the NBA, providing a first class entertainment product but also a destination for top players.”
Hilary Barry is amazing.
indeed.
I suspect Mediaworks was quoting reach figures.
So TVNZ has done the same:
Oh for TV ratings to be available publicly.
I can believe The Chase getting those numbers…
I swear every man, woman and dog watches it.
She is one person whom I would love to read news over here. Her and Mike Mcroberts, one of the best news partnership i’ve seen
That’s one hell of a 55+ skew
Na, all the 5-24 year olds are loving it. It’s all anyone is talking about in the nightclubs.
