Geez okay, no need to be rude mate. But it looks to me like an evolution from the large numerical 10 they’ve been using since 2013, CBS only took control in 2017.
.
But since you’ve brought up where the idea seems to have come from, there’s only so many ways to stylise a number 10 that will look good on TV. A number U.S. stations use that style of numerical 10, some pre-dating the CBS channel you cited. Ten likely drew inspiration from some of these back in 2013, which CBS further developed into the current logo.
KGTV San Diego, WPLG Miami, KSAZ-TV Phoenix, WTHI-TV Terre Haute
There’s only so many ways you can stylise a 1 and a 0. Of course someone will think it looks like someone else’s logo.
I for one think CBS has done a good job making it look relatively fresh yet still familiar.
That’s what they said about SBS and look what happened…
And if it was a porn it would probably rate better,
Plus you’ve got multi-channels for different “tastes”
Not sure if this is the right thread, but I was looking through the comment section of Channel 10s Facebook when I came across this vile response from Peter:
Hmmm just read through the comments on 10’s Facebook page… they’re not a happy bunch of campers.
I have to say, without any statistical evidence, they seem to be older people who just don’t like change. (Insert cartoon of grandpa Simpson shaking fist af cloud)
While I don’t like everything about the relaunch, I just don’t care enough to complain. The impact of the changes, positive and negative, just isn’t enough to make a difference to my viewing habits.
As I’ve said before, viewing habits for me are determined by the content.
