Bauer Media and Ten will launch a new show WhichCar TV on January 13, 2019. It’s Ten’s latest attempt at an automotive show (it showed Behind the Wheel in 1998), and is based on Bauer’s WhichCar website which incorporates magazine titles like Wheels and Motor.

I think I’ve said this in another thread but Ten should reboot GMA for breakfast. It’s such a beautifully solid, nostalgic brand that viewers know in some form or another. The branding that the US version is doing at the moment is wonderful - you could even follow through the morning with GMA Day.
That said, if Ten wanted something like this, the GMA brand might not sit well with CBS (although technically it’s Good Morning AUSTRALIA).

Unlikely that they’d borrow the concept and branding from a network other than CBS. Not to mention the fact that the current in-spirit pairing is Sunrise/NBC Today and TodayAU/GMA.

I made the point about CBS. Although you can’t argue any sort of brand affiliation between Seven’s offering and Nine - they both swap their branding!
The “eyewitness” branding is set to be dumped… for the third time in TEN-10’s history.
I’m expecting an announcement regarding a morning bulletin.

Interesting news* but your use of the word “bulletin” is a bit troubling. I know the word may indicate something or nothing, but to me Ten needs to be making a morning news “show”, not a bulletin. No-one will watch a “bulletin” on Ten, in this day and age.
*I could say “good news” but I won’t because I always had a thing for the “Eyewitness” name - just that Ten botched it this time.
Have we all forgotten that Sunrise started out as an early morning news bulletin all those years ago before making a gradual transition into the successful breakfast show it is now?
Personally I think doing something like that wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world for Ten to try if they wish to re-enter that market. When their main regional affiliate is substituting Ten’s 6am-8.30am programming in favour of “Headline News” from Sky 603, something needs to be done because I suspect what Ten are currently airing at that time of day isn’t going to cut it for much longer.
Now there is ABC News and all the other sources of news available. They need to offer something exclusive.
I’ve said it 5 million times but they need to offer something like KTLA Morning News, Good Day LA or Fox and Friends.
Bill Peach making a return to Ten 50 years after presenting Australia’s first current affairs show, Telescope, for them? That’d be quite something to see considering he was a bloody good journo and passed away five years ago. Perhaps they’ll prop him up at the desk “Weekend at Bernie’s” style?

I think Ten entering the mornings will be great! People are fed up with the dross from the others. If it was quality news like abc it will gain respect and viewers that dont want to see cash cow segments and people talking about new phones in America rubbish!
