Well, streaming services have the best way of knowing which shows people actually watch and how long they stay tuned in.

I do wonder though if it is necessarily how many people are watching or how many new subscribers it brings in. That is the aim at the end of the day.

Apparently people on the Gold Coast are on the lookout for Chris Hemsworth with the new Netflix movie Escape from Spiderhead commencing filming today.

A couple of shots from The Crown of The Lodge, Canberra. Don’t click if you don’t want to see them.

I was pretty disappointed with some of the Australian scenes to be honest. Totally non-representative of what Australia looked like in the 1980s, especially the scenes in “Brisbane” (appeared to be shot in a medieval Italian or Spanish city).

Second one unavailable, is it actually The Lodge?

It appears the person deleted the post then posted the photo again. The second link works now. It doesn’t look like The Lodge to me.

Yes, music rights was an issue in regards to the DVD releases of Heartbreak High. That’s why only the series’ shown on Ten have been released and not the ABC series’. Also explains why ABC hasn’t replayed it AFAIK in at least 10 years. Same issues as to why Sweet and Sour was never released either. They don’t want to fork out the money for the rights.

Mind you, I didn’t think I’d see the day Sons and Daughters got released on DVD but here we are.
