Continuing on.

This show is disgusting. Episode 6 is just sick.

Ryan Murphy has serious issues.

Are you going to keep “hate watching” it? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don’t stop shows half way through. I try my best to finish everything I start.

The 2017 Law and Order True Crime series was done so much better. Hardly any sexual references at all.

This is all sex sex sex.

You’re making it sound irresistible.

I guess if you’re into a mother making her adult son drop his pants so she can check his penis for std’s then go for it.

Stranger things have happened. Isn’t this the sort of abuse that the brothers claimed they were made to suffer, which they usedt o justify killing the parents?

See that’s where I’m unsure.

The real Erik came out slamming Ryan Murphy and the show yesterday so I’m unsure what’s “real” and what’s not.
I thought I knew the case pretty well but this show has confused me a lot about lots of issues.

That often happens. I think the same happened with the baby reindeer show too. They did make claims the parents sexually assaulted them. So to just ignore that wouldn’t be doing the story justice right?

What about the scene of the brothers in the shower together?

That’s a new allegation isn’t it? Maybe that’s what Erik was upset about.

NBC produced Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders back in 2017. Did Erik complain about that?

I don’t think so. I don’t remember hearing from either men at the time.

Quite possibly.

I’m up to episode 5 and I didn’t get the sense they were lovers? Just maybe a little too close? And Eric hasn’t yet at episode 5 said he was gay.

Lyle kissed Erik on the lips and then at the party Erik wiped the cocaine off Lyle’s lips and inserted his thumb into Lyle’s mouth to the disgust of two girls watching on.

It’s implied Erik is in a sexual relationship with his theatre friend.

And then later on in the series the shower scene where their mother walks in on the boys in the shower together.

I didn’t take that as them being in relationship just that they were too close and high as a kite.

I didn’t see that being implied either. Eric himself, in the show, just said he doesn’t know what he is because he is broken.

I haven’t seen that bit yet.

You going to just have to keep watching until the end then.

It’s very clear they are insinuating incest throughout the whole series.

Nathan Lane’s character literally says it in a monologue at the end of the series.

There are numerous articles online supporting my interpretation of the series.

I think you are getting incest and sexual assault muddled up. They havent insinuated it they said Lyle sexually assaulted Eric.

But yes maybe I need to finish it. I was basing it off your comments from 4 episodes in getting those claims which I think is a bit absurd.

I’ve linked 3 articles supporting the incest theories. Do you need more?

I don’t want to be spoiled. I was basing it off your comments from 4 episodes in and couldn’t come to the same conclusions as you. Maybe you read these before watching?

I didn’t read anything before watching.

I watched it and determined by myself what they are heavily implying.
