The one we had later was Sydway from the same company as Melway.
It was annual from 1994, then bi-annual from 2008 and then I believe the last printed edition was: 2016 Sydway Edition 18.

There is also a separate one focused on weddings and a hand grenade…
The other 35th anniversary week promo is here:
Joel Creasey returns for a guest appearance along with Courtney Act and Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters.
Bruce Samazan will be on this Thursday’s episode.
Wasn’t he the one who Garry McDonald had a dig at when he won the Silver Logie?
Because he was miffed that a teenage heart throb beat a middle aged man for the Most Popular Actor award?
More so because he presumably felt that Bruce winning was making a mockery of the awards.
Until Tom Gleeson.
The problem was that the “most popular” awards had overtaken the “most outstanding” awards at that time. The 16 “most popular” awards overshadowed the minority of only 8 “most outstanding” awards in 1992.
Did they have ‘most outstanding’ awards back then? Wow, I thought they’d only been around for about 15 years!
I agree that the ‘most popular’ categories were often swamped by soapy stars, so creating the outstanding categories was definitely a good idea. The unfortunate thing is there appears to be a stigma around including soapy stars in outstanding categories. Eve Morey was included - and so she should’ve been - but before her I can’t remember when someone from H&A or Neighbours was included. Ryan Moloney was great last year, as was Jackson Heywood on H&A a few years earlier with his drug addiction storyline and both deserved to be included.
It’s strange how the Logie Awards have flip flopped over the years between being all about quality television or popular television. Must be dependant on who is running the awards at the time.
Back in the 1980s, most of the “Most Outstanding” awards were known as “Best” awards and they seemed to dominate the award ceremonies.
Just had a quick look at the awards from 1980 and they had 5 national “Most Popular” awards and 3 state-based “Most Popular” awards. Meanwhile, they had 22 “Best” awards. While the popular awards were considered important, the show really was more about quality programs and performances.
(Obviously this is slightly off topic on the Neighbours thread, but I’ll continue).
This is part of my gripe. How can people compare a six episode mini series with a show like Neighbours which runs every weekday throughout the year? Of course there is reduced quality because it’s stretched over a year instead of one episode per week over six weeks.
Just because an actor is on H&A or Neighbours doesn’t mean they can’t act. Granted, many of them aren’t that great when they start but overtime some grow into really good actors. Eg, Jackson Heywood went to NIDA (well according to Wikipedia…). He can act, and I’d pretty much guarantee he would’ve received an ‘outstanding’ nomination if he portrayed an addict on a mini series instead of H&A.
NeighboursTV is now on Tik Tok:
Neighbours also has a podcast coming via 10 Speaks in conjunction with Fremantle, called Ramsay Beat.
In 35 years of Neighbours, there’s never been a podcast like this! Ramsay Beat takes you behind the scenes to talk to cast and creatives about, amongst other things, what promises to be the biggest week in the show’s history.
Neighbours will be filming scenes in Ireland.
Thanks for sharing. That’s a really interesting read.
