The concept of Robinson Towers sounded like a revival of floptastic short-lived soap Above The Law.
I thought somewhere between Above The Law AND the short lived Macklin Resort on Home And Away. I think trying to resuscitate Neighbours again is going to be even more brain-damaged plot lines. Let dead dogs lie.

There are many topics on 10’s pages that haven’t aired in years that aren’t locked. But to be honest, there will be very limited posts made anyway, so eventually will be pushed down the forum pages anyway.
Curiously, have all the Neighbours events in England wrapped up for good, or is there more popping up in the future?
And once the backlot site at Nunawading gets demolished for housing, there will be little talk in this forum after that.

Maybe there could be something like a classic Neighbours thread in the TV History section.
Or even just move this one into the TV History area like with The Project and Today Tonight threads
There’s no need to lock a thread but maybe members just need to be reminded to only post any relevant news about the show itself.
Any suggestions for spin-offs should really go in the appropriate threads like Random Mocks or TV show ideas.

On The Graham Norton Show tonight, Margot Robbie said that when she was playing Donna on Neighbours, the producers gave her a dialect coach, because (in her own words) she was “too Australian” for the soap.
Her Wuthering Heights co-star Jacob Elordi then said that he had auditioned twice for Neighbours, and 2-3 times for Home and Away. Jacob said that during an audition, he had to fudge the number of his social media followers, because apparently they needed at least 20,000 followers.
Has any of the recent Neighbours Stars popped up in any Shows yet and has the Actor that played Byron Stone started on the Spin-off to Vikings yet. Also I have an idea Dr Karl,Susan an Evil Dr Darcy Tyler to lead a Re-imagined A Country Practice?

A number of Neighbours actors have just appeared in a Melbourne theatre show at the Flinders Fringe Festival 2026 called Soapboxed based on an idea by Neighbours actress Lucinda Cowden.
It features Lucinda Cowden, Ryan Moloney, Takaya Honda and Sally-Anne Upton.
Shiv Palekar, who played Haz, was in a NAB ad campaign recently.

Robbie Williams wore a Ramsay Street t-shirt during a chat with Richard Wilkins for A Current Affair tonight.
Nine provided the publicity photo to TV Tonight.
In the chat, Robbie revealed that he is touring Australia and New Zealand this November.

Nine’s A Current Affair did a better job promoting Neighbours than 10 ever did in the last decade.
