Nothing was going to top the 2022 finale. Much like the anniversary weeks, nothing topped the 20th.
Neighbours needs to be left alone now. No more reboots or revivals. For me it ended in 2022.

Absolutely. Let it die now. Another return would just be taking the piss and destroying yet another finale. All shows end. They need to accept this.
They’ll never stop The Simpsons…
I thought the finale was fine. All the commentary in the lead-up was that it was being left in such a way as there were options for the future. I was expecting an ambiguous ending.
I watched the UK Prime broadcast of it. it did have full credits at the end.
So it was 10 which was too lazy to show the full credits.

I would not say lazy but rather a choice to not do so.
Could someone let me know the outcome of the Wendy and Andrew storyline? Tuesday’s episode had a really well written scene with Holly, Wendy and Sadie, and I know Holly and Andrew named the boy River, but I don’t remember what happened next.
Much like the whole episode, there was no outcome.
There wasn’t really any resolution. The following scene took place in the final episode:
The cul de sac is still adorned with ‘Fight the Freeway’ signs. Andrew is just approaching No 30 when Sadie calls out ‘Dad’; she and Wendy are doing some gardening in the driveway of No 26. He walks over to them, pleased to be acknowledged.
SADIE: How are you doing?
ANDREW: Yeah, I’m okay. Taking things day by day. How about you guys?
WENDY: Yeah, we’re okay too. Thank you for filling out all the paperwork. Once we get money for the house, we’re gonna be able to… all move on from there.
Felix comes out of No 30 to join them. Andrew says he might see them at the Waterhole later - it sounds like there’s going to be a bit of a reunion. Wendy and Sadie agree, and smile as Andrew and Felix walk off.
SADIE: He’s not begging you to forgive him anymore.
WENDY: No…
SADIE: This is the first time since it’s happened… that I miss him.
Wendy puts an arm around Sadie.
Later at the party, Wendy makes the following statement in front of Andrew, when discussing Cara and Remi’s “reconciliation”:
WENDY: So, just forget it.
REMI: Just like that?
WENDY: Pretend it never happened. Just click your fingers and go back to the way you were.
Make of that what you will. Then in one of the final scenes:
Wendy is dancing, but as she climbs down from the stageand runs into Andrew by accident, their eyes meet.
I get the impression she ran into him accidentally on purpose, but that’s down to interpretation. We never find out what they go on to say to each other, if anything.

Perhaps the plan was to drag it out further in case they got an 11th hour saviour. At one point is was going to go back to 3 episodes a week. That, like many other storylines in television history will be most likely be unresolved
The original plan (according to an interview the EP did with Radio Times in the UK) was for Holly to have the baby and for the dynamic of that to play out about Andrew, Holly, Wendy and Sadie
That was only on 10 though and they just fall behind like last time.
There was no plan to reduce episodes on Amazon or in Ireland.

Is anyone watching the early 1980’s seasons of Neighbours and hope Robinson Towers gets made this year?
Lol streaming on 10play, bless.
