Just realized i still need to complete most of 2013 and start season 2014 to 2019 seasons so technically it has ended for me . Since I have a long way to go I won’t be running out of new neighbours for a while.

Currently watching Neighbours Classics on YT. I probably won’t catchup the whole series until it is fully released until 2040.

10 can’t even bother to show the credits for the final episode. Poorly done there. You’ve got nothing but a old rerun of a crime drama afterwards, surely that can wait 1 more minute?

The status quo
I think there will be some form of a future reincarnation.
I think as a daily soap it is dead.
However that be a tv movie a year, a darker drama series, once a week series. Who knows, but I don’t think the premise behind the core of what neighbours is dead at all.
The way it ended, could they be trying for a 3rd reboot?

As Susan said, there are three “options” if someone wants to pick up or spin-off the series:
- Neighbours (Ramsay St, status quo continues as the Freeway acquisition is defeated)
- Robinson Towers (based in a CBD hotel/apartment complex)
- Ramsay Hills (set in a new outer suburban housing estate)
They left it open for any of the characters to choose any of the options. I know it won’t satisfy many as a finale, but it was actually a clever way to go about it.
