Neighbours does Hard Quiz! In this special episode, the perfect blend of Stefan Dennis (Paul), Georgie Stone (Mackenzie), Alan Fletcher (Dr Karl) and Madeleine West (Dee) battle it out for Tom Gleeson’s Big Brass Mug.
Chrishell Stause features on the cover of Sunday Life magazine inside Sunday Age and The Sun-Herald today. She talks about her role of Yasmine Shields in Neighbours and her marriage with G Flip in the interview (paywall article).
I really think Melanie and Vic would have been a good couple together on the show, and still surprised hes not a permanent cast member. Wonder if his time on home and away will be permanent
Never knew that the young demographic’s of today who the show is aimed at are interested in aged care .
It’s well known that executive producer is a fan boy of the show’s past and enjoys bringing back previous characters. No doubt he saw this “Erini Rising” storyline as an excuse to bring back more of the older cast, and now they have to add in random storyline’s to justify having the previous characters return.
Agree. Having the “nursing home” storyline is a good story arc, with bring back some former characters. The likes of Harold Bishop wanted to return in a casual basis, and this was probably a good way for a few to return (like Gino, Hilary and Harold).
Lucas Fiztgerald, played by sometimes director of the show Scott Major, appeared on the show tonight. Selling the mechanics to Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien), in which his son will work at. The mechanics hasn’t been shown on the show for some time now. Even though it’s across the road from the highly used Tram Cafe.
They were awful doing the boylesque petition etc, far far far too dated of a storyline to be remotely funny or realistic. Sit them all down to watch the calendar girls movie.
You know what itll be better than the ageist stuff they give us. All theyve done is portray old people as awful. They may aswell be nude and awful. Admit it. You want to see Harolds Harry.
I don’t believe that they have reached that point yet - it is one of the most watched shows on Amazon in the UK - question would be if there is enough viewership there + in other markets for them to justify the same amount of funding, or an increase in funding.
