Did anyone else miss an episode this week? I’m missing Wednesday’s episode and can’t locate it on my IQ nor 10Play. I’m so confused.
I watched it and is there for me.

I noticed that the money in the envelope handed to Karl wasn’t Australia currency. A while ago they were eating potato chips (crisps) that wasn’t a brand sold in Australia and I’ve noticed a few other things too over the past 12 months. Which market are they aiming at? USA, because the show was resurrected by Amazon, or UK because that’s the show’s biggest market?
The whole storyline with Wendy leaving Andrew and then Sadie HAVING TO MOVE OUT!!! is so ridiculous. Like I get its a soapie, but theres just no need for this.
I hadn’t noticed this, but will keep an eye out now!
I don’t think that was intentional. It looked like prop money and was hardly pulled out of the envelope. They’re usually more careful about this sort of stuff. It would make no sense to use foreign currency.
They have used some generic brands in the past. A while ago they had some Aldi branded chips and crackers. Apparently Aldi was a sponsor in the UK which was this probably the reason.
That makes sense, I hadn’t thought of Aldi ‘Funny money’ as my neighbour used to call it.
One of the FB pages commented that the cutlery had been set opposite to how we generally do it in Australia. Could’ve this been done on purpose?
You’re overthinking it. There wouldn’t be much that is being changed to suit foreign audiences. In fact, the unique Australian differences is probably the biggest appeal of Neighbours.
I remember last year they had an episode at the beach where Byron was teaching Mischa Barton’s American character about Australian fine dining cuisine: a meat pie with tomato sauce.
Coincidentally, Snakos crackers from Aldi in one of the kitchens in today’s episode.
Have noticed a lot of Aldi branded product on the show (being an Aldi employee). Even dating back many years when Karl was storing extra product (I can’t recall the exact storyline but for some reaosn he was hoarding supermarket products). That was all Aldi stuff.
But I guess it also makes sense to Karl’s character because he’s always painted as a cheap skate by Susan , so he would shop at Aldi!
Herald Sun reports that Sarah Kate Connick has wrapped a two month stint on Neighbours playing Fallon Morrell, the half sister of Krista Sinclair (Majella Davis). Sarah Kate, who has been living in Sydney with sisters Georgia and Charlotte since early 2023 when their father Harry Jr. was a judge on Australian Idol, hosted her family on set.
Sarah Kate’s episodes will feature on 10 and Amazon Freevee in early 2025.
Fallon is one of two characters coming to Ramsay Street. The other is Seb Metcalfe, a “face from Krista’s past,” who is portrayed by Rarmain Newton and will debut in mid November.
I do wonder how it does do in the US? Has it aired in the US previously at all?
Neighbours did broadcast in U.S.A in the 1980’s and early 90’s and 2013-2016.
Neighbours and The Bold & The Beautiful have some adjustment to scheduling next week due to 10 covering the US Election live on Wednesday November 6.
Neighbours will not screen on Wednesday on 10 in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide (new episode added to Friday), but remains in Perth.
On 10 Peach there is no change, meaning most viewers can stay up to date by viewing at 6:30pm.
Melanie might be leaving Ramsay Street, but she has some other business to attend to...

Chris Martin played the Neighbours theme tune during a Coldplay soundcheck in Melbourne and posted it on Instagram. Delta Goodrem (Nina Tucker), Natalie Imbruglia (Beth Brennan) and other cast members have commented.
Is it just me that gets the feeling that Wendy is being phased out of the show? I think Andrew and Therese would make a good couple if so.
Yes. Candice Leask was pregnant in the last few scenes we saw her in. They were using the usual television tricks to disguise her pregnancy but if you looked carefully it was obvious. She was carrying a lot of props like shopping bags and trays, wearing coats and they were shooting most scenes with her behind tables and the bar at Lassiters.
Fans have been speculating that she must have gone on maternity leave earlier than planned because some of her last few scenes were done with her over the phone.
“I’m off, it’s true,” she said. “I’m sorry. I can’t do anything about it, it wasn’t my bloody decision. But yeah, Mel’s off in her truck and doesn’t have any plans to return immediately.”
