And the show always used to take a break over Christmas anyway - not as long as Home and Away but a show taking a break of up to a couple of months wouldn’t be an oddity in Australia, and presumably Channel 10 could get higher ratings on a Thursday in October than the middle of December anyway.
(It never made sense why they went year round supposedly at the request of C5 considering C5 then often shoved episodes over Christmas out at 9am in the morning!)

There was a backlash with moving it to 3 days a week, and 10 listened. Article says for this week and next week (surely, it will continue to 4 days a week?). No comment from 10 why there was a decision to cut down to 3 - they failed to comment on that. Hmmm…
Good decision. As noted last week, ratings have recently been higher (so perhaps that might have helped).

Perhaps Ten might give Neighbours a 2 week rest when Bold And The Beautiful takes a rest and use it as a launch pad for Young And The Restless before moving it to the timeslot Ten intends for it to air
Sounds like they were trying to stretch the season out. Most likely to play them over the summer. 10 might now put the show on a 2 week break over the Christmas break.
They always take The Bold of the Beautiful off for 2 weeks so they could just take both off together and return them together hopefully with the other 3 soaps. Ridiculous still no Days and The Young and Restless. So much for coming soon.
David as previously reported. The rights for Young And The Restless with NEC expire late this year and late next year for Days Of Our Lives.
I seriously doubt Sony will risk being in breach of contract by permitting Ten to air these before contracts expire.
Then 10 shouldn’t have announced them as coming soon back in June.
Anything they announce these days is just vile trash, just look at their recent upfront with their obsession with Big Brother.
To be honest they were probably seeing if there was any gaps in the Nine contract with the Y&R and
DOOL that could exploit

Coming soon doesn’t mean today or next week. Television for as long as I remember have said coming soon months out from when something airs. Just be patient
