In some other casting news today. It has been leaked that April Rose Pengilly has also joined the regular cast. She is the daughter of Kirk Pengilly.
Which links back to one of the rumours that Kirk Pengilly is going into the jungle.
Apparently Channel 5 in the UK are showing a one hour prime time special on Monday 12 February. Then Australia will get this episode plus the next episode, as the 90 minute special on Tuesday.
So that means the UK will be seeing first run Neighbours before Australia.
So ridiculous. How is this allowed? Why don’t Eleven just air the special on the Monday then?
They should but I wonder if this being forced by Channel 5 to avoid spoilers leaking and people watching illegal downloads so it boosts the ratings of their prime time special.

The one hour special screened in prime time in the UK, a few hours ago and there was a lot of online buzz. We play catch up tonight with the one hour special and the next half hour episode.
It is repeated on Tuesday in the UK in its two afternoon slots as a one hour episode. Then on Thursday they get double episodes and catch up to us.
Cracking episode. Flowed very well. Amazing work by the cast and crew.

Three players from UK rugby league team Leeds Rhinos visited the Neighbours set this week, ahead of tomorrow’s World Club Challenge against Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park. Kallum Watkins, Stevie Ward and Ryan Hall appeared in a scene with Stefan Dennis (Paul) at The Waterhole. The cameo scene will be shown on Eleven and Channel 5 in May this year.
