How long was the Therese / Paul romance? Was it as full on as these last episodes are making out?

It’s been going on for a number of years I believe.
I think we have to remember that all these people returning… time is money. I would imagine they would be paid per scene. Or an appearance fee
I got a bit teary when they played those scenes with Jane and Mrs. Mangel. The other storylines aren’t meaning that much to me.

It probably would have been better to have an episode of just all the old memories and flashbacks.

I remember seeing something about the appearance fee for guests being per episode or groups of episodes. So if someone filmed scenes, they would generally put them all in one episode for the cheapest fee. Otherwise it follows a pay scale for three episodes, nine episodes or six weeks, three months, six months, one year etc

Surely at the end of tonight’s penultimate episode we could have had a special promo for tomorrow’s finale - not a “coming up on Neighbours” preview like any other day. Poor treatment from 10 until the end.
