Lauren will be regretting for the rest of her life about that mud cake that she put her name on it.
I was very close with my prediction for the twist. Under my scenario, Hazel and Lisa and Monique and Sarah would still be eliminated.
Really? Sounds extreme. I hope she doesnât need to go into therapy for that. ![]()
LOL
Albeit unintentionally, youâre the funniest person on this board, Johnson.
I like the instant restaurants too!
Which now also means with the teams being kind of segregated and all busy doing their own cooking at the same time, we wonât see much of the âbitchinessâ that has been going on during the instant restaurant rounds.
Iâm sure you can relax now, Ryan, knowing Lisa AND her eyebrows have both gone.
All but Nev and Kell gave Carmine and Lauren 7âs for their instant restaurant, which reflected their view that the entree was exceptional, but the lamb shank and the mud cake were average.
The online guides have been updated with synopses for this weekâs team challenges. Tonight the teams will cook at North Ryde RSL. The two teams who failed will have to duel in a cook-off with Curtis Stone as guest judge. Leisel Jones will be guest judge in Wednesdayâs episode.
Nev and Kell were rarely critical or outspoken at the table, but IMO always had some rather snarky âto the cameraâ comments, and gave rather low scores to everyone.
The Miners always seem to be in the middle of the drama. My favourite contestants.
Looks like Seven is showing one less episode of MKR per week to stretch this season as long as possible. Last year 48 episodes were shown over 13 weeks. This season will have had 27 episodes shown by the end of this week. If it also has 48 episodes and three episodes are shown each week, then it should finish by the first week of May.
What makes you believe seven will continue showing it 3 days a week? They are actually going to be ahead of last year series considering they took a break last year and this year are notâŚ
Seven may be confident it can win the next few Sundays without MKR, given The Voice wonât start for a while yet and Reno Rumble and/or You Are Back In the Room (should they air on Sundays) could be ratings flops.
Sorry Johnson but I think you are jumping. Seven are not airing My Kitchen Rules on one Sunday. We havenât had confirmation that this is something that will continue.
Originally they were going to skip a whole week during non ratings Easter weeks. Now it looks like theyâre not taking a risk with Reno Rumble starting that week. They still have a schedule to stick to so I guess instead of finishing early, they will just skip a few Sundays until they get to the same point.
Interesting that tonight they shopped at East Village in Zetland in the south eastern suburbs but went to North Ryde RSL which is a north west suburb. I guess they just wanted to shoot in a flash new supermarket.
I wouldnât like to be trying to get across the Harbour with fresh food for a cooking competition, given Sydneyâs notoriously unreliable traffic.
MKR is also not being shown the following Sunday. It had previously been in the schedule for that day.
Ok thanks for that
What were Eve and Jason thinking when they used garlic and ginger in jars and bottled lime juice to make a Vietnamese prawn salad? They should have made a meat dish so they had more time to cut the ingredients. They should be very lucky that their group won peopleâs choice. On the other hand, 90 minutes was not long enough for several teams as they produced average buffet dishes. Two hours would have been adequate.
That theyâre bludgers who take the easy road? ![]()
Theyâre doing what the producers tell them?
I think theyâd prefer them to do it from scratch and fail which would create more drama.
I donât think producers told Eve and Jason to use store bought ingredients, they must have thought that as peeling prawns took up most of 90 minutes, using packaged ingredients would have saved time.
Must be because that Sunday is Easter.
