Closely? You need to look close. They are scary even from afar.

The sooner Manu jumps to Nine or Ten the better
Manu as the next Masterchef judge with Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston just in case the new judges bomb
Actually not a bad idea as he is familiar and likeable. Should get Masterchef back on top in no time.
He could do Studio 10, Living Room and short travel or cooking series
George Calombaris getting the last judge spot on MasterChef instead of Manu is forever going to be one of those âWhat if the reverse happened?â questions which will be pondered
Potentially. Also probably wouldâve been hard to imagine MKR being massively successful if Manu was on Masterchef instead of MKR.
George was quite a likeable judge in the earlier seasons. Some of my favourite challenges were when he brought his Nonnaâs dishes in and the contestants had to guess the ingredients. Although Manu was great on MKR I think 10 choose the judges correctly at the time.
7 dropped âThe Rivalsâ from any social media content. Also the banner image was changed to a friendlier pic of Manu, Pete and Colin.

They finally got the message that itâs the format that sux this season.
It is funny that all the mistakes 7 are making this year are the same mistakes 10 has made in the past. The rivals thing didnât work for Masterchef when they tried the girls v boys thing. The angry judges didnât work either for the show.
âOnly on 7â - who else would want it?
Sonya Mefaddi and Hadil Faiza, who were âexcused from the tableâ by Manu in season 9 two years ago, have spoken out for the first time on their experience on the show. They said MKR ruined their lives and took an emotional toll on their families, reputation and mental health. Sonya said she and Hadil were excused by Manu âfrom the table for the nightâ â not indefinitely â and contestants were placed into lockdown for two days before Seven axed them.
Sonya also revealed personal emails from Pete and Manu for the first time. In one email Manu said he and Pete were also upset on the way the girls left, but âwe had to follow the orders of Channel 7âs executive decisionâ.
Hadil said she was diagnosed with severe PTSD, depression and anxiety after the axing. Both she and Sonya said they would not do another reality show again.
I do have some sympathy for Sonia and Hadil, but had they regretted some of the things they said on the show?
Maybe it was out of their control. Even the nicest person can turn nasty at the discretion of authority.
Seven is really trying to put a âfunâ and âlight viewingâ angle on MKR these days with their new promos. Too bad itâs all lipstick on a dead pig and the damage done is collateral.
Just caught up with last weekâs episodes. It was Super Week in more ways than one: super dishes, a super low score (Roula and Rachael got just 32), super secrets revealed and super scandals including this one:
In Thursdayâs episode Ben told Jake that he (Ben) had been making out with Lauren and woke up together on the couch one morning. Looks like the Buzzfeed article was referring to this. Given Ben had just gone on a date with Roula, this love triangle wouldnât end well.
I am still a big fan of the show but I didnât like Romelâs antics. He tried to shut everyone up and rattle up Dan, yet he wouldnât accept Danâs apology.
Theyâve just seen the ratings.
Dear god that table âfightâ last night was horrendous. Talk about trying to copy âdinner party dramaâ from MAFS. What happened to the cooking? And they wonder why the show has tanked?
Yep axing Sunday Night was a big mistake
Isnât that what seven do. Just copy other shows?
MKR has been bad from almost the start⌠canât believe itâs taken this long.
