Another sad news for Eurovision fans. Lys Assia, who won the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956, has died at age 94.


Prison Break and Chicago Fire star Dushon Monique Brown has died at 49.


UK actor Bill Maynard, who played Claude in Heartbeat and its spin-off The Royal, has died aged 89.


Former Tasmanian Senator and Federal Minister Jocelyn Newman has died at 80 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was also the mother of former Queensland Premier Campbell Newman.



Steven Bochco, creator of Hill Street Blues, LA Law and NYPD Blue, has died at 74.


Japanese animator Isao Takahata, best known for his work Grave of the Fireflies, has died at 82. He and Hayao Miyazaki co-founded Studio Ghibli in 1985 and produced many hits like Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away.



Double Oscar-winning director Milos Forman has died at 86. He won best director for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest in 1976 and Amadeus in 1985.


Full Metal Jacket actor R Lee Ermey has passed away aged 74. Now drop and give him 20 in memory! :rofl:
