“My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which lasted almost 10 years, ends here,” Meloni wrote on social media, two days after two off-air recordings emerged of Giambruno, a presenter on Mediaset’s news talkshow Diario Del Giorno, making foul remarks and suggestive comments towards a female colleague.
In the first off-air clip, broadcast by another Mediaset show, Giambruno complains about criticisms of his hairstyle before telling his female colleague: “Why didn’t I meet you before?” In the second recording, he is heard telling a female colleague that they need another participant on the show. “Let’s have a threesome, even a foursome,” he said.

Australian and Netherlands teams had a moment’s silence before their World Cup clash today, in memory of Bishan Bedi.

Why? They wouldn’t have held a minute had they played bilaterally. What impact did he have on these two nations? India wouldn’t be holding a minute’s silence if a (non uber-famous) Aussie passed

Rude. The World Cup is in India. They’ve decided to mark his passing with a minute silence at the next match played. That’s called paying respect.

When Shane Warne and Rod Marsh Passed away last year, teams from England, West Indies, Bangladesh and South Africa paid respect with a minute silence before their matches.

World famous cricketers whose impact and influence stretched beyond their own teams, unlike Bishan Bedi.

I’m not sure if it’s ignorance or recency bias, but he’s deserving of the tribute.

He was the second most powerful man in the ruling Chinese Communist Party until he retired last year.

State media said he had been “resting” in Shanghai when he suffered a sudden heart attack on Thursday.
