Completely shocked by that one. A huge shock and a massive loss to Australia’s comedy industry even if she was a Kiwi.
Remember her fondly from the Skithouse days.

Am saddened, and shocked, about the sudden loss of Cal.
A great presence on our tv screens and on stage. Never a bad word against her.

Always sadder when it is someone so young. I noticed that “rest in peace” is trending at the moment in Australia. I think that is mostly due to tributes to Cal (even though there is a lot of death at the moment around the world).

That’s so tragic! I remember her being on Thank God Your Here when she was pregnant. I really hoped that she would return for the revival as she was my favourite. So unexpected.

Hearing the news this morning really shocked me. She felt very much apart of the Australian TV scene with her regular appearances on comedy panel shows
The episode of Spicks and Specks that aired on ABC TV Plus tonight (originally aired in 2009) featured Cal. An in memoriam slide aired at the end of the episode.

His state memorial will be held at the MCG on November 10, Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan announced today. Family, friends, and supporters have been invited to attend the memorial.
