I’d not heard of him before but I was very sad to read this. Only 33.
And on a side note, I see Nine/wwos still using someone’s passing as click bait by not naming them in the headline.

Statement from ABC Director of Regional & Local, Judith Whelan
We were saddened to hear of Philip Satchell’s death overnight. Philip was central to the development and success of ABC Radio in South Australia for more than four decades. He set the highest standards for himself and the station and always put his listeners first. His calm, thoughtful and probing approach to an interview – along with the use of his famous ‘pregnant pause’ to illicit more from his subject – will be his legacy. It remains a cornerstone of ABC Radio Adelaide to this day. He will be missed by all those who knew him and worked with him at the ABC. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
