Very sad to hear the news. I will always remember his hosting of 3AW afternoons and his support for Western Bulldogs.
Womens footy pioneer Helen Lambert has died.
Nine’s Late News just had a nice piece on Ernie Sigley.
This morning, Peter Ford did a piece too - on The Morning Show. They even talked about his time on rivals Channel Nine. Also about his morning tv stint in the 1990s.
Christ. That’s a properly sad one.
Devastating. I’m speechless.
oh shit. That one has floored me. Had no idea he was sick so it makes the shock so much more when you’re unprepared.
Condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
Randomly watched Cats Does Countdown last night for the first time in ages - how sad.
Irish actress Caitriona Balfe, best known for her leading role in Outlander, has given birth to a baby boy.
WOW. I am shocked about Sean Lock . Such a great comedian on various British panel shows
RIP Sean Lock. His comedic talent and laughs will be missed.
No doubt others know more about TCN’s news director history, but I think Paul Fenn was there during the final years Hendo presented the bulletin + Jim Waley’s first year or so?
Sean Lock’s death has really shocked me like no other death that’s happened this year. He was definitely one of the highlights of British comedy for me, his deadpan dry style really resonated with me and he struck me as one of the few celebrities you’d genuinely want to hang out in a pub with.
There were signs he’d been sick for a while - his last few appearances he appeared to be quite gaunt and his voice was very weak.
