MasterChef Australia

Overall the cast is pretty good. They cast the net wider than I expected with a few names from earlier seasons which is good to see. I was expecting the cast to mostly be recent seasons.

I would have preferred not to see a couple of those names from the previous Back to Win though like Callum and Laura, but I guess it’s similar to how they brought back 3 winners in that Fans vs Faves season trying to add some bigger name drawcards. Sarah at least wasn’t on the first Back to Win.

Will Third Time Be The Charm For This Runner-Up?

MasterChef Australia: Back To Win. Coming Soon To 10 And 10 Play.

Nobody knows the sting of missing out on the top spot quite like Laura Sharrad.

After coming in as runner-up in season six of MasterChef Australia, Laura returned for another shot at the culinary crown during Season 12 and made it all the way to the grand finale. Once again, she narrowly missed out on the trophy and finished in second place.

Since she last set foot in the MasterChef Australia kitchen, Laura has been honing her skills and hard at work in professional kitchens as the co-owner of South Australian hot spots, Fugazzi Bar & Dining and pasta bar Nido.

With years of expertise under her apron, Laura is hungrier than ever for the title and is quite literally, back to win. Will third time be the charm?

During his time in season 11, Tim sailed through the competition until he came face-to-face with a Peter Gilmore pressure test. Now, returning for a second shot at the title of MasterChef Australia, Tim will once again face the chef whose dish sent him packing all those years ago.

Can This OG Find Victory?

MasterChef Australia: Back To Win. Coming Soon To 10 And 10 Play.

For many of our returning contestants, their time in the MasterChef Australia kitchen was only a few years ago, but for Andre, it’s been 16 years.

Walking through the doors in the show’s inaugural season, Andre discovered how deep his passion for cooking ran, and has gone on to forge an impressive culinary career.

Opening and running the award-winning Andre’s Cucina & Polenta Bar in Adelaide for 10 years before it closed its doors, Andre has since launched further successful venues in South Australia - ORSO, Willmott’s Gastronomia, Lost Phoenix Farm and Villetta Porcini.

Andre now returns to the place where it all began, hoping to add the title of MasterChef Australia 2025 winner, to his growing list of accolades.

He’s back, and this time he doesn’t want to leave without the trophy.

A familiar face in the MasterChef Australia kitchen, Callum Hann first walked through the doors as a fresh-faced 20-year-old who made it all the way to the grand finale. This time, Callum is ready to add the title and glory of winning MasterChef Australia to his growing list of achievements including restaurants, cookbooks, media appearances, TV hosting and more!

Just heard a radio ad on KISS FM in Sydney promoting MasterChef’s new season with a new lineup of judges and Jamie Oliver!!! Seriously how hard can it be?

(minor spoilers about upcoming cooking challenges)

I went to the Royal Easter Show in Sydney last night, and was lucky enough to get a free gift from a pop up MasterChef kiosk.

I got a Back to Win 2025 season fridge magnet, a shopping list, and a Street Food favourites recipe magazine, featuring recipes from the first 15 seasons of the show.
