Has Celebrity MCAU filming affected the lockdown in Melbourne?

Filming of Celebrity MasterChef finished a couple of weeks ago, just before the latest lockdown.

Interesting photo…wonder who owns the wall and how happy they were with Jock pissing on it……

I don’t think Jock actually pissed on the wall. Perhaps just the photographer splashing some water on the wall before asking Jock to pose in front of it.

Gotta wonder how this will impact ratings for next season, knowing the only male judge with any personality has based his on a house of lies.

Banijay Rights has signed a new partnership deal with Snap, the parent company of Snapchat. The deal will see the best moments from the show featured on the MC channel on Snapchat Discover. Banijay Rights and Endemol Shine Australia are both owned by French production giant Banijay.

According to News Corp, court documents revealed that the plaintiff’s lawyer last year obtained special permission to leave court papers involving the case outside the MasterChef set at Centenary Hall in the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, after the Melbourne-based process server unsuccessfully tried three times to serve the papers on Zonfrillo in person when he was filming Junior MasterChef.

It’s a refreshing line-up of ‘celebrities’, I’m not sure I could handle a regular full season of MC but could give this a go I think.

Nick Riewoldt is “Sports Presenter”? Not “AFL Legend”?

I was a bit surprised that Nick Riewoldt was described as sports presenter when I first saw the promo. Maybe it’s for the purpose of overseas sales? Many overseas fans of MasterChef Australia may not know what AFL (or Aussie Rules) is.

So? “Aussie Rules Great” then? Or have a different one for overseas.

Let’s be honest - three of them are celebrities.

The other seven need the cash and publicity and would turn up to the opening of an envelope if you paid them.

Which three do you count as celebrities? I am guessing Rebecca Gibney and Ian Thorpe, and maybe Nick Riewoldt if you follow AFL, I don’t but at least did know who he is.

The only ones on that list I don’t know are Tilly and Archie. Tilly is only there to provide fodder as Gordon’s daughter.
