Theresa returns for sure
Nope.
She was eliminated in tonightās mystery box challenge. Her macadamia ice-cream was too grainy and she didnāt want to serve it to the judges. Without the ice-cream, her dessert dish was incomplete.
The promo department were clearly making a big thing of her because it was the last time we see her.
I hope that Tom or Wynona come back tonight.
Itās a shame some of the stronger contenders didnāt get back in to the comp. Iām not so keen on any of the four cooking tonight.
Go Tom!
I think that Tom (the most recently eliminated) and Wynona (who won an immunity pin) are some of the stronger cooks but I wouldnāt like to see either of the other two back. It is a shame that Therese didnāt make it back but she wasnāt that great this week.
Iām not a fan of Tom. Forgot Wynona had a pin. So Iāll be hoping for her tonight.
But Donāt Forget about Eric and Maja, Their Powerful Cooks Too!
The problem Therese had is she was a āone-trickā pony - it was either deserts or bust for her. Contestants who are āone-trickā ponies simply canāt win MasterChef Australia - you need to be a well-rounded cook in order to get far, let alone be in contention to win
Yeah you are right. For someone who was supposedly so good at desserts she was eliminated on one and attempted one last night that she didnāt even complete.
The camera phone is Samsung Galaxy S21 (you may have seen commercials during MasterChef broadcasts in which Melissa takes photos with the phone), thus a big promotion for the Korean electronics giant.
MasterChefās Road Tour Starts Monday.
MasterChef Australia is hitting the road in partnership with Visit Victoria.
In three episodes airing from Monday, 7 June, judges Melissa Leong, Jock Zonfrillo and Andy Allen are travelling alongside our top 14 contestants and crew, with a series of culinary challenges in regional seaside and country locations, as well as in the heart of Melbourne, filmed in March.
Taking the competition outside the MasterChef kitchen for the first time in two years, the MasterChef team is thrilled at the chance to savour the sights, local produce and hospitality on offer.
Travelling down the Great Ocean Road, first stop is Apollo Bay to show off the regionās exquisite seafood and beautiful coastline, before heading to the countryside on Tuesday to explore the quality produce against the beautiful backdrop of Daylesford, hosted by celebrated chef Alla Wolf-Tasker at her Dairy Flat Farm.
Then on Wednesday, the creative energy of Melbourneās CBD is on display with contestants challenged to create delicious dishes as inspired by Melbourneās unique urban culture, incredible architecture and world-class food scene.
MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo said: āTo be able to take the show on the road to regional Victoria was awesome. Victoria has so many incredible local producers and hospitality offerings, and we had a great time in Apollo Bay and Daylesford. To explore Melbourneās vibrant food culture and to have these wonderful regions quite literally on our doorstep is such a special gift.ā
While many Australians canāt visit these fantastic locations at the moment, they can support local hospitality businesses through Click for Vic ā a digital platform launched by Visit Victoria that collates a wide range of excellent Victorian produce, beverages and chef-prepared meals.
Visit Victoria CEO Brendan McClements said: āWith MasterChef in Apollo Bay, Daylesford and Melbourne, the judges and contestants had the opportunity to soak up our beautiful coastline, taste their way through the regions and explore
TV Blackbox says season 2 of Celebrity MasterChef Australia will commence filming at Royal Melbourne Showgrounds on July 15 for three weeks.
This is worrying:
There had been some speculation of another celebrity series next year.
They never learn do they?
In Britain, there have been 16 seasons of Celebrity MasterChef since it began in 2006. Did it diminish the popularity of the format? I doubt it.
Except this isnāt Britain.
10 needs to see how this yearās edition performs before going for another one next year.
