No celebrity series? Hard to imagine theyāll roll out another season of Junior MasterChef either considering Bevās comments about doubling down on more than one season per year of any show.
Who would have thought that MasterChef would outlive My Kitchen Rules?
I for one.
Masterchef is without a doubt the better show. MKR was a show riding on the coattails of foodie TV that Masterchef popularised. It was a lame imitation and full of manufactured drama and bitchiness.
MasterChef season 12 finale has just aired on W channel in Britain. Judging by the comments on social media, many UK fans were happy that Emelia won.
MKR was most certainly popular when it came out, but with the show turning to drama to try and enliven it more, it became obvious at that point that MC would outlast it.
Melissa is on the cover of Who magazineās Sexiest People issue for the first time.

Itās clearly set up for Georgia to win.

TV Tonightās David Knox noted in his article on the winner of Junior MasterChef this morning that season 13 of MasterChef Australia had commenced filming in Melbourne. With the easing of restrictions on restaurant seating and outdoor gatherings in Victoria, we could see the return of service challenges and outdoor cooking challenges, especially in the early weeks of competition. Even a trip to regional Victoria cannot be ruled out.
That is good they are filming this earlier. I think 10 cut themselves a bit fine with their filming sometimes.
Past seasons of MasterChef always started filming in November, taking advantage of warm weather.
After this year, I think all networks are trying to get as much content pre done and packaged as early as possible. Who knows what 2021 will bring.
Yeah I agree but while some networks have a lot of their shows being filmed 10 still has only 3 shows for next year that are either currently being filmed or filmed.
There is no reason why they canāt get The Bachelore/ette in the bag now as well.
And it make sense that they film shows back to back. Doing double seasons is just cost effective. They have been so smart with Masterchef. Doing the main series-junior-and now another main series.
I missed the outside service challenges last season, especially team challenges
Season 12 last night won an AACTA award for best reality program

I have been catching up on season 1 on 10Play, and is now halfway through the season. In a pressure test in week 6, Aaron, Sandra and Julie had to make seafood paella to avoid elimination. Gary said the recipe was provided by a good friend of this, Miguel Maestre. I didnāt take notice of Miguelās name back then. Who would have thought years later he will become known as a co-host of The Living Room and a winner of Iām a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here?
