This year’s winner Emelia Jackson announced on social media during the week that she is pregnant with her first child. The baby is due in June 2021. It came after her engagement to finance executive Craig Gersbach last month.
Could the resumption of filming of the next season of MasterChef be affected by Victoria’s current border closure towards Sydney residents, given several contestants will be from Sydney? Normally contestants are allowed to return home to spend Christmas and New Year with their families, before reassembling in Melbourne in early or mid January.
The New Restrictions could put Production on the Upcoming Season to a Halt.
Considering the show was able to continue production through Stage 3 restrictions, I doubt these current restrictions would affect the show any more significantly.
The new problem is Andy Allen lives and works in Sydney, and will now have to apply for a permit to enter Victoria. Once here he will have to go into two week hotel quarantine. So production will have to be delayed until mid January at the earliest, unless the producers decide to go on without him indefinitely.
What about Jock and Melissa?
Are you sure he’s not here already? There is every chance / probability that they made sure anyone in other states came back a few days ago when it looked possible there could be border closures.
Jock and Melissa both now live in Melbourne.
Not together right?
They don’t live together.
The border lockdown might also impact various guest chefs/judges that do not live in VIC
They could just do a ‘live cross’. Set up a mini-studio in Sydney and have them run the meal from there. Obviously they couldn’t judge.
like what Curtis Stone did in Junior Masterchef and Gorden Ramsay also did in finals week in back to win
They could not appear in person due to covid-19 restrictions

10 really know how to create a good promo. I just don’t understand why they are promoting this already. What is coming after The Amazing Race? Unless they are airing this earlier this year
I’d say that’s most likely since the TV year started earlier for them with I’m A Celeb starting much earlier.
Ohhh lord already? 3 months of the same promo. Whilst 10 create compelling promos the strategy they do to promote these shows is beyond bizarre. Never any variety, never promote anything else than their main tent poles. They wonder why their news struggles.
Doesn’t I’m a celebrity always air this early?
This year was the earliest ever.
I also think Amazing Race will be a shorter run than Survivor last year. Plus there is no more Bachelor in Paradise.
