Did you tune in halfway through the episode or something? It was emotional but everyone wasn’t like that from the start.
It was definitely Reece’s time to go. Now hoping for a Callum or Reynold win.

I think Kirsten said something about the courses, but most of her comments didn’t get to air.

They showed at least one comment form each of the guests. Obviously they all would have commented but we don’t need to see 9 comments on every single dish.

It’s not about seeing all 9 comments. I just thought it was odd they brought them in but then mostly just showed the main judges critiques.

For shows involving judging critiques, I’ve always thought that the networks should offer (on their digital platforms) the full critiques for each contestant/pair/house/etc. That way if you’re a fan of a particular contestant or want to see what a guest judge had to say about everyone, there’s a way you can view that rather than being restricted to seeing only what actually aired in the program

Tonight’s elimination episode was scheduled to run until 8.40pm, but it didn’t finish until 9.03pm! It wasn’t helped by the late finish to the Carrie’s Beanies for Cancer episode of The Project which ran overtime.
After Emelia won last night’s mystery box challenge, she said the S-world twice. I think this is the first time she swore on TV, she was so shocked about the win.

The EPG on my Panasonic TV showed the finish time as 8.40pm, must have been a last minute change.
As did Foxtel.
In response to the questions, Zonfrillo released a video on Instagram explaining what the beads are and where he got them from.
“These are worry beads,” he said, holding up the item. “I’ve got lots of different types of worry beads and when I’m feeling anxious or a little bit stressed, basically I worry. So I flick through them … and the more anxious … I get, the faster I do it.”
Zonfrillo said he has had the worry beads in his pocket during every single MasterChef episode this year.
Callum was very, very unlucky to be sent home. In the second round battle against Laura, Callum made a snapper dish whose flavours impressed the judges, but the fish was mushy because he cooked it in a sous-vide machine. Laura’s take on strawberry and cream was tasty with no faults.

Curtis Stone would make a good judge/host on Junior Masterchef he is one the main judges of top chef junior u.s
He is in the US though, so would be difficult to get over.

Why do people keep saying this? Danni came back with her kid to live here. Curtis would be coming here for a short period to film a show and then need to go back to the US where he has businesses and lives, so that is much more unlikely to happen. Are there even any flights going back to the USA these days?
On this Sunday’s semi-final, Laura, Reynold and Emelia had to re-create a “toffee apple” dish created by three-hatted chef Martin Benn. According to News Corp, the dish has been 10 years in the making and is based on the five elements of taste: salty, sour, sweet, umami and bitter.
Meanwhile, Sunday Herald Sun reports filming for Junior MasterChef will be ramping up at Royal Melbourne Showgrounds later this month.
