Completely agree. I’m enjoying it, but it could be snappier. Hopefully the pacing picks up now all the introductions are done.
The small segments with Harley and Susie (in between challenges) are quite funny.
I thought it was ok but it did drag on a bit. They definitely could have sped it up.
Apparently in tonight’s second round (cubby house challenge), contestants could ask for tradespeople to help build their creations.
Pacing is MUCH better this episode. Feels closer to the US version. Hopefully it’s not to late.
That is standard for the show, anything with construction has tradespeople.
Agree much better pacing this time, If it stays at 75 mins max I will keep watching.
This bit is pure gold. Hopefully it keeps building longer and longer each episode.
What is the plan if ratings continue to fall (hopefully doesn’t )… just because a show is successful in the US doesn’t translate to the same in Australia … maybe it does better in the US because of the hosts?
Doesn’t Holey Moley do better in the US than AU ?
Even in the US Making It doesn’t rate that well. The last season averaged 1.78m viewers and a 0.3 in the 18-49 demo.
Holey Moley does OK for a summer show but its by no means a big hit.
Since when is George a woman’s name?
About as long as there was a boy named Sue.
What is the problem with it? Maybe she was named Georgina but prefers George. Maybe she was named George.
There’s a boy named Sue?
Comedian and former radio presenter George McEncroe is one.
Can’t say I’ve heard of this person.
Doesn’t matter. I don’t mean anything by it. I’ve just never heard of a female named named George. End of.
I know of a couple of female Georges - by and large they are Georgia/Georgina at birth but have adopted George as their go-to name.
I’m not going to blow your mind by telling you about the women called James.
How is that pronounced?
