I’m wondering if there will be a nation wide change to KIIS on Jan 19 once Gold also launches nationwide.
Maybe KIIS will do 80’s to now hits and Gold will do 80’s to now more adult contemporary such as INXS, Daryl Braithwaite, MJ etc.

You might be onto something - as I wouldn’t be surprised if we see GOLD have a change in music too. J&A’s Facebook cover image says, “new music”.
96FM is already starting to sound different, their playlist has gone very AC and are playing far less rock compared to where they were 6 months ago.
I am very interested to see if 6MMM benefits from the 96Gold switchover, they’re already seeing a really positive momentum in the market

Just putting it out there… this now leaves Mix106.3 Canberra as the only KIIS Network station still with a varied logo and Mix name.
The fact they gave Canberra a Hit, I think it’s time to either give them a KIIS or even a GOLD106.3.

Sounds like it & also it looks like 1323 will be staying as Cruise & keeping the classic hits format, Huggy put up a post on cruise’s facebook page earlier saying he will be back on air next Monday.

I really don’t think this is right. There might be a few addition and subtractions to their on-air library, but it doesn’t look like the playlist has changed too much at all.
