With all due respect (and Iām not attacking you or anything), but out of curiosity why do you listen to them?
I donāt really listen to them much anymore since moving to Brisbane.
Iāll go and have a look at the shows rundown in the podcast and fast forward to a particular segment if it interests me apart from that I donāt listen.
Iām also not driving at breakfast anymore. In Sydney Iād have it on KIIS. Here in Brisbane I flick a little. I havenāt really settled on a station here yet. If there was a Pure Gold station thatās probably where I would be.

Ah okay. Was a bit confused about why you listen since you lived in Brisbane, but didnāt realise you came from Sydney. All good.
Iāve grown up with them. Since the 2Day FM days too when Mum was driving us to school.
33 years old now and itās just a habitual thing really to check in on them.

TBH Iām surprised they donāt just get one of the other presenters to fill in, unless they canāt afford to roster anyone thanks to Kyle and Jackie Oās salary.

ACMA is a joke. In so many ways. Toothless and take forever to deal with complaints. Then slap the station(s) with a wet lettuce.
And letās not start on things like how long it takes for AM to FM conversion. Perth is beyond a joke. Letās just have more āconsultationsā.

āThe Best Bitsā should be a replay of the music, news breaks and commercials they played.
As the ratings go nowhere in Melbourne is seems that Kyle and Jackie O are becoming more extreme. The recent āpissing competitionā is evidence of their race to the bottom. The show is a train wreck and the decision to lower the bar is only making it worse. They should be tweaking the show to appeal more to Meburnians. I am not sure that having a 50-something year old male referring to a womanās private parts as āflapsā is the tweak they need. Kyle comes across as a pervert and their $20M a year salary comes across as a huge waste of money.
Kyle and Jackieās greatest achievement was being able to convince ARN that the show would be a success in Melbourne. Their greatest failure is the show being broadcast in Melbourne.
