KIIS Network

They still replay HoP at midnight as well as 4am. And then W&W replay airs at 1am.

Further to my post earlier, how is this disgusting crap allowed on air. We really don’t have any regulation in this country do we?

It’s literally rage inducing

That’s the point. People talk about them, and all publicity is good publicity.

We do - it’s just not enforced enough or it’s too lenient

Yes, until it’s not. One day they’ll go to far and the worm will turn.

At this point, what can they actually do that will piss their listener base off?

It’s hard to say. But one day a prank or ridicule of someone will go too far and someone will actually get hurt.

It already has when they strapped that poor girl in a lie detector and asked her questions about her sex life, including, after when she revealed that she was a victim of rape, thought it was perfectly okay to ask her if it was her only experience.

What I mean is one day one of their victims will commit suicide or something.

The regulator might finally do something then.

Or, just don’t listen to it?

All of this is just giving them the attention they want. Listen at 6am tomorrow. Guaranteed they will bring up Media Watch and just laugh it off.

The question being posed is to the ARN board, and it’s a fair question.

K&J can comment or laugh it off, or whatever they need to do to fill their show. It’s unlikely there are many Media Watch viewers who would be listening to them anyway, and vice versa.

Did it do anything after that (SCA) royal phone prank where a British nurse committed suicide?

I think I’ve got just the logos for that…

Nope
Regulator either doesn’t have the guts to go hard, or the regulations are to relaxed.

But the point of Media Watch is to call out the media for what they are doing that is wrong. Just because it gives them publicity doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t cover it as part of the shows objective.

A segment from this morning: How to approach a celebrity in public” but they were just talking about how to approach themselves.
