All of this is just giving them the attention they want. Listen at 6am tomorrow. Guaranteed they will bring up Media Watch and just laugh it off.
The question being posed is to the ARN board, and it’s a fair question.
K&J can comment or laugh it off, or whatever they need to do to fill their show. It’s unlikely there are many Media Watch viewers who would be listening to them anyway, and vice versa.

Regulator either doesn’t have the guts to go hard, or the regulations are to relaxed.
But the point of Media Watch is to call out the media for what they are doing that is wrong. Just because it gives them publicity doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t cover it as part of the shows objective.

With all due respect (and I’m not attacking you or anything), but out of curiosity why do you listen to them?
I don’t really listen to them much anymore since moving to Brisbane.
I’ll go and have a look at the shows rundown in the podcast and fast forward to a particular segment if it interests me apart from that I don’t listen.
I’m also not driving at breakfast anymore. In Sydney I’d have it on KIIS. Here in Brisbane I flick a little. I haven’t really settled on a station here yet. If there was a Pure Gold station that’s probably where I would be.

Ah okay. Was a bit confused about why you listen since you lived in Brisbane, but didn’t realise you came from Sydney. All good.
I’ve grown up with them. Since the 2Day FM days too when Mum was driving us to school.
33 years old now and it’s just a habitual thing really to check in on them.

Remember, this is Kyle and Jackie O were talking about - their idea of what’s good and best is very different from ours 
TBH I’m surprised they don’t just get one of the other presenters to fill in, unless they can’t afford to roster anyone thanks to Kyle and Jackie O’s salary.

ACMA is a joke. In so many ways. Toothless and take forever to deal with complaints. Then slap the station(s) with a wet lettuce.
And let’s not start on things like how long it takes for AM to FM conversion. Perth is beyond a joke. Let’s just have more “consultations”.
