Kip’s a bit like the Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child) of Ash Kip & Luttsy. Absolutely intergral to the group but nobody is following when they split.
Ash & Luttsy are lucky they got to work with and train up Susie ONeill for so long so its not a stark change to the team

I’m glad it isn’t. The smaller the KIIS letters the better. The whole logo itself needs a rethink. It looks like a blow up doll, in a bad way..

I agree, the new 97.3 font looks woeful. They should’ve kept the frequency the same font as before and just tweaked the lip colours and added a small WHITE KIIS word above (I don’t see the point of hiding it).
Why don’t any of the press releases refer to her “returning” to ARN?
Listened to hot nights on Fox tonight. Really hard to listen to, it’s just so much one sided talk about… herself. Not open or broad and so whiny and entitled. I give it 6 months tops

This makes no sense why does Ali’s name need to be front and centre?
Because she’s been a fixture of Adelaide radio for the last 20 odd years (Mix, 5MMM, ABC). Plus, it’s something different to the usual two or three person show names. And, you know, ego and stuff. They likely had to promise something like this to get her over from her high rating ABC show.
Correct, it will be interesting, the ratings haven’t been that bad in the scheme of things so I’m not convinced we will see a huge increase as popular as Ali is. I really thought they might try to get Jarrod Walsh involved as well.
Keep in mind Sodestrom seemed a popular guy as well. He still has his Channel Seven work but it will interesting if he turns up on another network. He would fit in best at MMM but there is not really an opening.

He worked for the M’s before moving to Mix. It was Andrew Jarman that got him the job at Mix. Soda wanted more air time, they went with D.Lewis and Jars instead for the Rush Hour and not Soda.
So he has connections at the M’s.
WTF are ARN actually doing? I don’t understand why they’ve bothered with this seemingly pointless rebrand, when there is no mention of KIIS97.3 on air at all. 
I imagine the big switch on air will be Monday when the breakfast team return.
But yea, they should have learned from the Hit experiment. I forsee this being a disaster for them in the long run.
The breakfast team have already returned. They came back on the 24th.
Jase and Lauren look to be returning on the 14th of February.
