That would be weird. I think they said something about removing the Nova and other syndicated content from other companies and replacing it with ARN content.
I mean there is probably a very valid reason that the show is being delayed.
And also it isn’t doing too bad in the ratings, KIIS 1011 has been struggling for longer then Jase & Lauren.
That would be part of the trigger rules on change of control. The rule you refer to is that staffing levels much remain at least the same as they were premerger, so they can’t go sacking staff left right and centre. Programming can change, and staff can be shuffled around, but the total headcount in each market must remain the same or higher.

Not sure why 97.3FM feel the need to change up their weekend schedule. They usually do well across Weekends according to the radio ratings. In the last survey of the year in 2021, they finished in 2nd place, only beaten by the team in the studio next door at 4KQ.
It probably also means the end for their long-time alternating weekends of 90s and 00’s “Four Play’s” each hour.
Agree. People looking for music will just go elsewhere.

KJO was 6-8pm then Jase and Lauren 8-9pm. No more Jase and Lauren encore. Mitch is on for an hour longer than Hit’s Hot Nights.
Just like with Kendall Crake on 96fm moving to 7-10pm, if they’re going to invest in a night show it makes sense to put them on at a time when more people listen
If this Radioinfo article is any guide, it appears that 97.3 in Brisbane will be rebranded as KIIS 97.3 from next Monday (24th January).
Doesn’t seem to be a typo, its mentioned throughout the release from ARN. Weird way to announce the change
