Correct, but all prior reporting at most outlets had him as a “Channel 10 reporter” so it is of note that The Age has taken a different angle there.

yes there is no disputing the fact about the AFL umpire. Just an observation that SMH/Brisbane Times and ABC online are leading with “Sydney couple” and The Age “AFL umpire”

That’s pretty poor I agree. Considering that all networks have now turned off comments on posts regarding him handing himself in (presumably to prevent any legal issues from public comments) this was way out of line

Lots of mentions in the media about Jesse coming from Studio 10, but worth pointing out that he had several years working in the childrens TV department at Channel 10 Brisbane prior to that. So many people hoping for the best…
