I don’t appreciate you being rude. I’m just suggesting :disappointed::disappointed:

The ABC Late News had a bit more info provided by the police spokesperson.

Police believe items belonging to both men were recovered from the skip bin. A phone, credit cards and keys.

The house in Paddington was rented by Mr Baird. His boyfriend Mr Davies lived in Waterloo but nothing suspicious was found there.

An argument was heard by neighbours at Paddington on Monday morning. There was activity on one of their social media accounts on Tuesday night.

Genuinely asking you who you meant by ‘who’… not being rude.

All of this was known earlier this afternoon/evening, from what you’ve shared (I didn’t watch the report) it doesn’t seem like any new information was broight to light.

Surprisingly, the Daily Mail seem to have more information.

Just be weary. They often print information that is speculation and incorrect. They just fix it up later when the truth comes out.

Apparently, there have been police raids on Beau house or family home over night.

Should this discussion be broken out into another thread? Seems more discussion will likely continue as more developments come to hand.

Feels like they’ve jumped the shark a bit there, even if they’ve used ‘alleged’.

Looks like very careless wording by Seven. Other media (e.g. Nine newspapers) have been very clear that there is no allegation or charge against the 3rd person. So far police are just saying he is someone they would like to speak to.

Seven getting a bit ahead of themself’s.

Wow. If it turns out the cop isn’t involved Seven will be regretting that headline. Even with an ‘alleged’ it still could be considered defamatory, because no one (except Seven) is alleging this.

also using the K work when we don’t know officially that has actually happened.

ABC reporting:

10 have identified the man but ABC say they haven’t confirmed ID.

#BREAKING: NSW Police officer Beau Lamarre has been arrested after presenting himself to Bondi police station. He was being sought in connection to the disappearance of a Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.

Sydney Morning Herald reporting it was the officer in question who walked into Bondi Police Station this morning, so there’s at least two news organisations reporting his name.
