Think the AFL deserves a shoutout for notifying Jesse’s family yesterday when he didn’t show up for work. Not 100% sure the family were aware that he was missing at the time, or were worried that something was wrong.

Despite things looking pretty grim, I was still holding out some hope. Wasn’t expecting murder charges to be announced at this media conference so early and without the bodies being located.
Seven had no coverage today.
Narelda did a good job wrapping up on what must have been a very difficult report.

Same, on both counts.
The whole thing from the start was strange and with virtually no trace of them since Monday it pointed to something sinister.
If what they allege what happened is true, then the full force of the law should come down on that person responsible.

I feel this could’ve been avoided if the residents contacted police no matter how small or big they thought it was it. Always report domestic violence
Not great to speculate on a serious matter like this being avoidable, in the light of the news today. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Also to ascertain that neighbours could have somehow stopped this from happening, when all they reportedly heard was an argument which didn’t warrant calling the Police, is oversimplifying this matter IMO.
Absolutely, but I don’t think that was the assertion in this instance and clearly nobody thought what they heard was enough to warrant reporting further.

I would have agreed wrapping up on a report would be very tough, especially when someone who used to work on Channel 10. It really breaks my heart to hear these charges and hoped they could survive. Praying for their family and especially for people who used to worked around Jesse.

What devastating news, seems both men had a large social network in Sydney. This is going to hit hard for many people.

Not just Sydney, Jesse grew up in Brisbane and Luke had only moved there a few months ago.
I know a lot of people here in Brisbane where I am who have been very affected by this, including myself.

There are no bodies found AFAIK but the suspect has been charged with murder, so police must be very certain the men are no longer alive.
