She usually hosts with Ben Shepard on Thursdays. Piers did Monday to Wednesdays.
Ofcom revealed on Wednesday that 57,121 complaints have been made about the showâŚ
The complaints are up from 41,000 last week, and puts Good Morning Britain above an episode of Celebrity Big Brother in Ofcomâs hall of shame. Some 44,500 complained about a Big Brother episode in 2007, when Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty was targeted by Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd.
Itâs Must Walk-off TV on ITV!
Richard Madeley going full Alan Partridge (thereâs a thread going full partridge I reckon)
Just brilliant!
Good Morning Britain will have a special Christmas Day episode this Saturday before taking an extended break.
An ITV spokesman said: "GMB was due to be on air from Weds 29 â Fri 31 December 2021 but due to the pandemic and to protect our teams, we have decided to give them an extended break.
âGMB will not broadcast next week, but will be back on air on Tues 4 Jan 2022.â
Angela Cox presented a recorded segment for This Morning. It was for expats to say Happy Christmas to those back home.

Itâs so cringe when Australians say âSydney, Australiaâ not confident enough that Sydney is well know.enough to just stand as âSydneyâ
Iâve never not once met a Brit or American who needed to be told what country Sydney is in. Not one.
Ironically itâs something picked up from Americans.
You might meet a few in Florida and North Dakota.
Or the Westcountry.
Reports today following comments in a radio interview by an ITV News correspondent earlier that the ITV Evening News will be doubled in length to an hour later this year, airing 6.30-7.30pm.
This will see the soaps pushed out of long held slots, with Emmerdale moving to 7.30pm and Coronation Street airing three nights a week for an hour at 8pm, and will reduce the pre-watershed non-soap programming in primetime from 4 hours to just 1.5 hours.
If that does happen, itâll be interesting to see whether it improves ITVâs ratings or if a 90 minute news block will backfire on them in the same way 10âs âNews Revolutionâ did for them.
On one hand, I can understand the logic behind the move because (as Brekkie outlined) it reduces the amount of âfillerâ programming (ie; pre-9pm non-soap) which needs to be commissioned and aired. However, canât help but think a one hour Evening News would be treading on the unique selling point of News at Ten (which ITN has moulded into a really solid bulletin over the past few years) of it being the newscast for extended analysis/features.
ITV has confirmed the rumours - the expanded Evening News (+ the changes to the scheduling of Emmerdale & Coronation Street) will begin in March:
