International Sports Rights

I’m not arguing, I know French football and television rights have had a rocky few years, and it’s not entirely out of the realms of possibility that it’s an continuation of that.

But given how much various football-related organisations really don’t want much to do with the US part of the World Cup, it wouldn’t be a complete surprise.

Worth remembering it’s going from 64 to 104 games and arguably the expanded format makes the first 72 games much less attractive.

SA has a Winter Olympics team for the first time since Pyeongchang. The event isn’t shown live on Supersport but on YT instead.

There’s F1 pre-season testing underway now, but not shown live either. Have they lost the rights to that too?

Or, well, one could listen to every game live & free on radio in the home market. Save the headache of finding which of the umpteen streamers will carry them on TV.

Neroli Meadows and Jess Crowe are the presenters but there is no mention of Erin Holland.

Where was that announced?

I think that’s an assumption given she’s not listed as a presenter

“dropped” sounds a bit more forceful than just not working there this year…

Erin Holland has posted on Threads explaining her absence from this year’s Pakistan Super League.

I have amended my original post from last week. Sorry for saying she was dropped.
