Some Canadian gridiron football coverage! TSN, which is essentially Canadian ESPN, is the sole rights holder for all CFL games.

Before someone asks - Redzone has their own graphic, the shift blocks everything bar the score/timeout indicator

I noticed today that Redzone put their own score graphic over it towards the end when they realised the problem.

Why was the graphic so far up to begin with? To be 4:3 safe?

It’s to allow for the score ticker to go underneath. It looks like when the ticker isnt on screen, they are moving the score bug down.

Not sure if its ESPN doing something or its how they’re getting the coverage from the states, but the colours of the Fox covered games has been very muted

As is assumed, ignore all references to Seven in that article: bar women’s and BBL, BT will be taking Fox coverage.

Yep - Fox is the world feed and a much superior broadcast product (although not without fault…felt their commentary went off the rails a bit last year).
