Very exact lol.

Not that impressed with CBS’s new graphics tbh. The simplicity is there but everything looks weird being different font sizes, off-center and not aligned.

I liked this use of a virtual screen showing a close-up of the winning jockey from yesterday’s Dubai World Cup meet. Hadn’t seen anything similar before.

Bally Sports scorebug launched last week. Reminds me of Fox Footy 1.0’s scorebug back in the mid 00s.

They’ve gone backwards. What else do you expect from an unholy marriage of Sinclair and Byron Allen?

I like the Bally graphics except for the giant waste of grey space at the bottom of the screen.

NBC debuted a scorebug for the NHL which is their final broadcast year before handing over to TNT and ESPN.

Figured I’d post some international horse racing graphics as I imagine most Aussies don’t see anything other than Racing.com and Sky Racing.

This is from Woodbine Racecourse in Toronto, Canada. Unlike Australia, each track produces their own coverage with their own graphics and that feed is provided to the various distributors in North America.

I’ve yet to see any track’s production come close to anything the Aussie networks produce, and most track’s graphics look decades old. These Woodbine ones are probably some of the best I’ve seen, and I believe they are new for this season.

That said, there’s way too much information at times, especially showing the exacta daily double, etc. combination odds.

I’m pretty sure some of the tracks over here are producing their own live feeds of races. Graphics aren’t that great though.

They look good, They have a bit of a racing.com vibe
