Did anyone record between 2-3 the tour of the broadcast facilities on TVNZ of the America’s Cup yesterday? Wouldn’t mind a watch

Almost as horrendous as Spark Sport NZ

Na. These are way worse.

Nothing about these grabs your eyes. You aren’t instinctively pulled to the score on screen and the black on green look doesn’t work on TV

Interesting they’ve been able to keep La Liga happy though

The Spaniards might have been more flexible than the French - taking the line that some money is better than none.

Interesting to note that there was two separate contracts - one for at home viewing and one specifically for bars.

it’s like a kindergarten class has been given the green light to go ahead and do graphics for all networks - Fox Cricket is feral, especially the Comic Sans font, Seven is ok but too colourful, Spark is just hilariously bad, same with Pakistan’s and now India’s host broadcast is just a mess… bring back the simple layout Sky Sport UK used to do with the glass look. That was classy.

The article states that La Liga were happy to renegotiate given the circumstances and kind of gives off vibes that the French were unwilling

Had no idea live test cricket was back on channel 4 in England. Would be great if away tours turned up on FTA here.

Would have liked their opener to have a less generic windows font…

NFL world feed with new graphics

Neroli Meadows fronting world feed for the Australian Open. First time I can recall them having an anchor on screen in the world feed. Usually it’s just a voice over who does continuity (Peter Donegal, Garry Wilkinson etc) without seeing them.

Mate they got the rights two days before the match started. It’s amazing they even did a studio bit and not just a BCCI simulcast!

The NFL Network scorebar looks vastly superior to the boring new CBS scorebar imo.
