Surströmming Spewed As Seven Stars Scored.

Peter Helliar Farewelled From The South African Jungle.

And so the farewells in camp continued, this time with Pete Helliar leaving the South African jungle behind.

As ANZAC Day dawned, the celebs held a minute silence and stood for the Last Post, with Pete reciting The Ode. As they made ANZAC biscuits the campmates shared stories and what the day meant to them.

Now, we all know Aesha is the queen of unclean, but no one expected her dirty habits to rub off on the other campmates! With Adam and Liz the only celebs actually changing their underwear daily, Nathan revealed he’s even stopped brushing his teeth and Woody was thankful for the camp fire smoke and it’s masking smells ability .

Departed Dom sent Harry, Liz and Pete to the unhappy hour of Dive Bar where they had to down extra special bar snacks and cocktails. Dr Chris Brown even got in on the action, shooting fermented herring under the guise of a Surströmming shot. Proving it really was horrendous, the good doctor left set and was spotted in the bushes puking his guts up. Seven stars for camp all round.

Recovering in time to appear alongside Julia Morris, the hosts entered camp and revealed that unfortunately it was time to farewell everyone’s favourite comedian Peter Helliar.

From creating the groundbreaking jungle duo The Flaming Ducks alongside Aesha to revealing he has a true friend in Rove McManus, the sun set on another celebrity’s time in camp.

Tomorrow night all celebrities will take part in the Help From Friends trial and another campmate will close the chapter on their time on the jungle.

This UK Series was pre-recorded last year. It was designed in case they couldn’t do their live series due to covid.

Yes. Instead of voting they compete against each other to see who stays.

Ok, dumb question but are basically all the I’m a celebrity Ge Me Out of Here! franchise shows from around the world all done from the same place?

British version’s first season in 2002 was filmed in Tully, Queensland. From 2003 to 2019 they filmed around Murwillumbah, New South Wales. The 2020 and 2021 seasons were filmed at Gwrych Castle in Wales due to the COVID-19 pandemic before returning to Australia in 2022.

Australian version has filmed in South Africa except for 2021 and 2022, when they stayed in Australia.

The international versions have used Australia and South Africa but also many other locations like Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Suriname, Malaysia etc. Wikipedia has a full list.

Agree 100%.

She’ll milk it for all it’s worth like her OFs and Olivia thing from MAFS

She’ll go on about it her first podcast back no doubt

And you will lap it up with glee.

Dom has just been evicted and no doubt back in the country now and doing press. Of course she will be speaking about this now.

Dom is still in South Africa. She appeared on last night’s episode as seen in the screencaps in this post, and also talked to The Project earlier.

She is not the one milking it, its the press that keeps going on about it. Clearly they don’t have much else of importance to write about.

She did cover up her face when Chris and Julia showed her the Kerri-Anne clip, so she’s probably just wants to put it behind her but that’s all she’s going to be remembered for.

I wonder if Pete Helliar would be a good replacement for Dr Chris?

No.

I actually thought Dom did quite well in her audition. Probably the jungle wouldn’t be right for her but she could be good somewhere else.
