I think they like to do the occasional one but not every single day. Jackie clearly hates the eating ones and ones involving anything disgusting, yet Ben keeps campaigning for people to vte her into them.
The cost of this show shouldnât see jt return next tear. CBS can find better ways to spend the money and create content that people want to watch.
How many more weeks of this to go?
LOL woops.
Alghough I wouldnât be surprised if that becomes a trial. They are desperate for ratings at the moment.
Iâd expect the finale to air Monday 12th March or Tuesday 13th March and then straight into Bachelor In Paradise the next night.
@Chris David Oldfield claims to be the co-founder of One Nation, which Hanson disputes, this makes him racist imo. I agree with you on many things but not this one. Both Oldfields are disgusting human beings but I can however agree with you that it is making the show more interesting.
I am also intrigued by the number of comments on here, in newspapers etc by people who donât watch the show being super critical of it. If I got on the MKR thread I could spend all day being super critical, I hate the show. MAFS is crap but I have to admit to watching it on catch up when no oneâs looking.
As for those saying CBS could spend their money in better ways, maybe next year they will. Ten needs more shows with shorter seasons. it will cost more but CBS has the money.
A note to Julia and Dr Chris and the producers of Iâm a Celebrity, when they get home they should watch how Julie Chen comperes CBBUS. More of the jungle less of the comperes please.
The only redeeming part of the show this year, which I havenât really watched since the first week is Edge of the Jungle with Scott Tweedie, which is hilarious;
Yes a big impact in the camp and on the ratings as well.
Shouldâve been called Australiaâs most disgusting couple, as yet they havenât said anything inappropriate on air. But they will bigmouths like them canât help themselves.
As Fiona said when they arrived David is very revolting.
Jackie sucking up to them is making me sick, and her attempts at keeping sweet with Paul is only because she wants her big moment doing a reading with him and having Diana mentioned, Fiona said she thought this is what Jackie wanted.
The ratings had already been on decline since Mundine left and the Winter Olympics started (whether or not that was the reason, who knows). On top of that I think some viewers found the cast overall a bit of a snooze and have just dropped off and I doubt it has much to do with the intruders specifically. These intruders should have all come in earlier.
It is a shame though because if youâve watched the last few episodes the show is as good as itâs ever been, only last year when Keira arrived has it been better. At least there is tension and interesting stuff. They posted a video on facebook for tonightâs episode where Fiona goes absolutely ballistic at David Oldfield with her yelling and storming out of camp. I find that much more exciting to watch than the typical kumbaya friendly Aussie celebs we generally have on this show. Itâs much more UK style now which is great TV.
Absolutely agree. The Oldfields are making this good to watch again. And say what you like about David, but since entering the camp he hasnât been unpleasant or controversial. Itâs just been people like Fiona, Peter and Josh deciding they donât like him before theyâve even met him properly.
I changed my opinion of him after seeing how humble he was on Hellâs Kitchen and also his transformation from start to finish on First Contact. For whatâs its worth he seems more genuine than half of the other contestants that are already in there.
Yeah, Iâm not gonna read all of that. Iâll just have to trust that everything is above board in here. Carry on.
People are so quick to judge based on things taken out of context in the media or that have happened in the past. Some of these celebs didnât even give the Oldfieldâs the chance from the get go because of what theyâve heard about them and are drilling that into the other contestants because of it. That is far more appauling behaviour than anything that the Oldifleds have done on this show. Regardless itâs making great TV and to me makes the Oldfields casting Gold.
I suspect the negative reaction to the Oldfields from some (e.g. Josh) started because they came into the comp so late but still have the same chance of winning.
Itâs a 6 week (plus a day or so) show and they entered in week 4.
Exactly the same day Carson Kressley entered in the last series.
Iâm not trying to explain why they might think it unfair, but this year it is 2 extra entering and Josh, who is very competitive, was shown by producers complaining about two extra entering.
Steve Price is going back into the Jungle
Josh wasnât happy about David because when the Oldfields entered the camp Simone told Josh that David is a racist.
And who was it that said Oldfield isnât racist?
Monday night:
Josh: âWe knew they were going to send someone in to ruffle us up; and there they are. You know what I donât like; the fact youâve been here for three weeks and two people just come in.â
Peter âEspecially themâ.
Josh: ââŚIâm going to amp up if he says anything racist ⌠Do you anything about him?â
Peter: âHe just say dumb stuff.â
I smell the whiff of desperation as they throw everything at this show. Reminds me of the dying days of Big Brother.
